Voice Test 1
Mar. 22nd, 2026 10:15 pmSkirk took a deep breath as she focused on the pulse of the Abyss within her. In, out, rhythmic as waves on the shore against her own heartbeat. It was second nature to her, this corroding, maddening font of strength, and it didn't take long for her to summon up a fraction of strength to cleave a rift between her own personal domain within the Abyssal sea and the landscape of Teyvat.
As she stepped out the rift and onto the dirt road that lined the countryside of Nod-Krai, she hefted beside her the remains of previous quarry, a rather large beast that had been making a mess for traders, Lightkeepers and all sorts of civilians in the region. The new target was finding the diminutive merchant called Dori and claim her reward for felling the creature, and just take enough so that she could continue to travel and hone her strength before her Master, Surtalogi the Foul, returned and wreaked havoc upon the life she built here. Passing traveler or no, it was clear that the moment he returned meant the end of all she held dear.
It pained her to admit it, but even with the steeling and crystallization of the walls she built around her heart, she has grown too fond of some of the people she encountered here. The Traveler, Ajax, and perhaps a few others whom she respected their power in their own right...
She cannot, will not, lose them again.
